I believe science is much like politics and politics is, many times, the motivation of science. Funding is a big reason many of these theories have not been fully explored. Then you have peer pressure and, of course, politics. To say that none of this is possible is ignorant. If we don’t look for the evidence, we’ll never find it. I enjoyed the show and the fresh perspective.

Boring. Horrible. Not up to par, in any way, considering this is the back story to the Targaryen’s family from GOT. The series lacks good characters, storylines, action, basically everything a good story needs to be called good, let alone great, as GOT is. I have yet to find a favorite character, halfway into the second season. I am trying not to compare it to GOT but realistically, I should, because it’s the history of GOT and how we got there. GRRM should just stick to finishing the GOT book series and forget about all these spinoffs. They are a waste of time and will never live up to GOT..

I gave this film 3 stars because we haven’t watched the film yet. (Edit: I have now, comments below) My wife and I are looking for a movie to rent and I came across OLD. The story caught my attention and the small part of the trailer I watched made me decide to look further. In doing my research I see the reviews which are very intriguing! There seems to be a HUGE difference of opinion whether this film sucks or is awesome. 🤷‍♂️ There is always good and bad reviews but this movie is mostly divided by 1 or 5 stars. Seems that the one stars say it makes no sense, bad characters, etc… However, the 5 stars say it’s brilliant, great acting, thought provoking, etc. It also appears that many of the 1 stars are younger while the 5 stars are mostly older, more mature. So. We’re going to check it out because I have to see what the big deal is. We’re 45, by the way, so we’ll soon see if we “get” the story or not? I’ll post my conclusion afterwards. I’ll make this short and sweet. We both really liked this movie! Made perfect sense. All the bad reviews are just other peoples perspective and opinion based on their taste. However, to say it makes no sense is absolutely not true. There are many good conclusions one can draw from this film. I would say many of the things that make this unappealing to some, are what made it appealing to me and why I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and exactly why I’ll watch it again. 👍👍 I did change my star rating to 5, after initially putting 3, because it deserves that!
