Casting of characters not the best selections, especially for the Sheriff. Too many "aged" actors available and some with western backgrounds. The author did a tremendous amount of work to increase his personal knowledge about region and it's inhabitants, reading his works is pleasurable as everything falls in place nicely, and I think it takes good actors to portray the written word.
