The ending sucked! This is the 1950s. In 1950s USA, there would not have been a woman in charge of anything especially if the woman was African American. A woman in charge of some secret sect of the US government is not realistic for the time and I don't buy it. I think AMC, the producers, writers, and whoever realized they needed an African American in the show to meet some DEI quota. It felt inauthentic and RUINED the whole show!!! I appreciate and enjoy diversity, different cultures and mixed cast in TV shows and movies but I think it needs to reflect real life at the time to be believable. This was not!
