Not always a run-of-the-mill murder mystery. The characters are given depth and interesting back stories, and the suspense is maintained.
At the end I felt I wanted to know what happens next for Detective Gemma Woodstock so Sarah Bailey (the author) has created a character she can obviously build on.
For me, a good read.
