Tbh I would definitely recommend reading the actual book otherwise you won't understand anything from the movie , didn't like it much expected alot of events with much of good details.

If you haven't read " six of crows " you literally missed your whole life , and if you have read it and not obsessed with it so you were blind , actually the book is just amazing like everything about it is perfect and I recommended it already for my friends, both books are professional for someone who loves fantasy, crime and thriller. Can't get over it .

I loved how I wasn't expecting all those shocking and fast events that happened in the book. It's great and would recommend it if you like twisted tales and murder, but the one thing that I wasn't so satisfied with was actually the ending, felt it happened faster than expected and so opened, however I would still let my friends read it.
