Straight A's. . I watched these first time around . But , career meant too many late nights - and I sadly lost continuity. Everyone deserves a second chance . So , now I can binge away on rainy retirement days .... Each story holds your attention with a strong combination of "then & now " images which somehow turn scripted fiction into credible fact ( ie you forget it's just another clichéd cop show and simply believe /accept ) along with memorable music-of-the-period . A very heady combination . That plus very believable characters whether that be playing lead roles or supporting cast ..... Storylines carry so much emotional weight & impact , I am amazed how so much is crammed into just under the hour , with not the slightest hint of said "cramming". I'm looking forward to "the poppy one" - as I remember - it moved me to tears . Another big plus is I pay Am-Pr to suppress adverts ! I rarely recommend anything to anyone ; we're all free agents capable of choosing as we see fit This series I strongly recommend to any & everyone if this is your "thing" . Even if it isn't, give it a try, I guarantee you will be taken !

I had Spaghetti Bolognaise and a glass of wine . I wore my dressing gown , which is dark red . I also have to pay my credit card bill , but I'll probably leave that till Friday .

Horrific because it more than touched soooo many raw nerves . The scene where the girl painted herself white reduced me to tears , because , through sheer desperation, I once wanted to be "normal" . Thankfully , I grew up to embrace "my difference" and become better than "normal". The programme itself crosses the line of "acceptable" television. , by todays watered down , lefty standards. Good job too . There's too much at stake & a HUGE point to be made here to Mr & Mrs Normal and their 2.3 children who simply haven't got a clue ( and don't want to be given one ) about life on the other side of the fence .

Excellent acting , put over a very sensitive storyline perfectly . Not over done . Not underdone . The sign of a good movie is one that hooks you in so thoroughly that the end credits always come as an unwelcome surprise . .

Nope Sorry. GR is flogging a very dead horse (chicken?) here . Characters lacked the depth provided by "all the usual suspects" . Left you wanting soooo much more .... Been there / Seen that . Sorry , just my 2bobs worth.

Saw it when it first came out . I thought it was nothing more than only 'kin excellent . So many films since have stolen moments from LGF , so obvious when you see them . Taylforth in a small bit part , but you recognise her voice immediately . I said to my g/f at the time , that bloke (Brozzers) will be James Bond one day . Was I right ? Can't remember anymore 66 y/o! Excellent movie . Watch it . I won't ruin it by giving away the story line . Razors - cut 'im ! 😮 Only person missing was one Raymundo Le Winstone ...

Slower moving than a dead snail .

The Deep House (2021) .... As at 2023 , they are still in The House with only 5 minutes of air left . Still shouting . Still panicking . Still lots of flash photography . And this last scene played out for 90 percent of the film . I hope they drowned . Along with the camera crew et al ........ Don't waste your time ....

Why would anyone got to the bother and expense of making this film ? Rory Kinnear (clearly a man of many parts) - shame on you for putting your name to this nonsense. All the super intelligent wax lyrical about the deeper meanings yadda yadda yadda .... but the reality is that it's a load of old doggy du- du .
