I've been a Star Wars fan for over 20 years. I've criticized the copy and paste methods used to create the sequel trilogy with more fervor than Mark Hamill himself (look up that interview if you don't know what I'm talking about). As far as The Acolytle goes, I see no issues. People who claim that Anakin was the first person born through the Force are grasping at straws. While Episode I mentioned briefly that Shmi Skywalker could not explain her pregnancy with Anakin, it was never once described as the "first time" the Force was used to conceive. Furthermore, any of these "true" SW fans would know that in the book 'Darth Plagueis,' by James Luceno, it is explained that Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious (Palpatine) had meditated through the Force in an attempt to shift the Force to the dark side. Immediately (because the Force requires balance) it created Anakin in the womb of Shmi. Thus, Anakin WAS in fact the Chosen One and did bring balance to the Force when he was redeemed by his son (Luke) and turned on the Emperor in Episode VII (confirmed by George Lucas in an interview....look it up). The point remains that the main issue that these review bombers have (i.e. breaking lore) is simply inaccurate. Have a lovely day!
