Dominic Parkes

I read this some 33 years ago and it was incredible to read the thoughts on how the Universe worked. This has set me on a path to study of the sciences and a career in engineering. IMHO I think he should have got a Noble prize for literature due to the millions of people he has inspired to further study the sciences. As what is the real value of a book, the way it is written or the impact it has had on society? He didn’t really have the breakthrough in science like Hiiggs did but I will always fondly remember the impact he has had on my life.
