Jennifer Jones is as gorgeous as all get out, and a proud half-breed being pursued by two brothers. Joseph Cotton is the smart, funny, peace-loving one; Gregory Peck plays the roughneck one who is mean and vulgar. It's upsetting to see Peck be a brute. So much great stuff in this classic. Lionel Barrymore, Harry Carey, Walter Houston... Not for kids.
