The name says it all. You know from the name of the movie itself what you are upto watch. Based on a true story it takes us back to 1800's and introduces us to Solomon and many like him subjected in the vicious and cruel world of slavery by fraud and kidnapping. Its a story of seperation, hardship, inhumanity, injustice, social discrimination, fight to rise and most importantly survival. Masterclass performances by Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lupita Nyong'o and rest of the crew. It doesnt look like a movie but rather looks like you are witnessing reality. Great movie.

Faith and survival go hand in hand. With faith comes peace, with peace comes survival and with survival comes life. What is life without faith? A thought provoking book. It's a fiction but it makes you feel surreal, like reading a real life story, like some real life incident transcribed in a book. It challenges your wits and reasoning and yet finally make you believe in the 'Lord' as mentioned in the book. Sometimes a little faith is all that is needed to awaken yourself.

Encaptivating. Its like a journey through Anu's life that we are witnessing together with Kevin and Jimmy. It keeps you hooked till the end even though you kind of get hold of where the story is going. A relief towards the end as it inculcates a fresh outlook and makes us think of a different ending to a story which is based on true facts. Brilliant performances by the lead cast making it look all natural. An innovative and fresh film. Worth watch.

Outstanding,phenomenal, words are less to describe. Beautiful journey taking together classical and western music hand in hand. Rich music intertwined with exceptional performances by the entire cast makes it a must watch. Naseeruddin Shah...what an actor. Age has no limits for acting yet again proved. He is so cute and adorable as Panditji. Atul Kulkarni can simply act through his eyes and expressions..such a brilliant actor, a perfectionist and an 'assal natrang' (real artist). Amit Mistry, Sheeba Chaddha are just icing on the top. And finally the two youngsters. What a discovery. First show and still it feels like they are pros. Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhary are the newly found gems for the industry.Treat to watch this ensemble on screen. Even the ones with little knowledge of music and least of classical will fall in love with this musical series. Mindblown and mesmerized. Brilliant singing.Thanks to Shankar Mahadevan and group for presenting a masterpiece musical show.

Delightful and a visual treat. Enola is refreshingly smart, intelligent, witty and gorgeous. A true and a genius prodigy of the Holmes family, she marvels and excels on her own journey to find her mother and in return finding herself. A beautiful movie that touches all the areas. From depicting women liberation in the face of Eudoria as early as in 19th century to finding a young budding selfless love in the form of Tewkesburry, to the authorative brother trying to control Enola in the form of Mycroft or to the understanding and affectionate older brother Sherlocks, this movie covers it all. Its an all in one drama. Must watch.

It will go as an all time classic in records. Amazing music by Justin Hurwitz, it gives you goosebumps. Offcourse its a musical movie, but never had such a movie been made in history whose music lives in its characters. The story of Mia and Sebastian is wrapped in a musical network. From their first meeting to their dating to their breakup is all so musical. The climax scene with its musical song is the cherry of the film. An alternative ending in an actual film was highly innovative to show and it leaves one teary eyes. What's so special in the climax is that there are no dialogues but only music and the final scene in which Mia and Sebastian just look at each other and convey all the words unsaid, that's epic. Sometimes words don't speak but only eyes do, perfect exemplary scene. Emma and Ryan are phenomenal in their characters. Its a shame that Ryan didn't get the Academy Award for his role. He deserved it. A well deserving Oscar winner movie.

They are two poles apart but when they meet, they complete each other. She the bubbly, chirpy and full of life, reflecting him of his past. She makes him live his present with a glimpse of his lively past and hope of beautiful future, a hope to live. Its a heart warming story, a story where you know the outcome and yet expect it to go the other way and yet accept it with all your heart for the sole meaning it gives to the one word 'LOVE'.
