Lorne Michaels, you have been a pioneer in your industry and responsible for discovering many of the best comedic talents over the last 45 years. SNL has been pure late night laugh genius, with many memorable skits and iconic characters becoming a part of pop culture history. The Blues Brothers, The Coneheads, Wayne's World, Land Shark, Gumby, and Mr. Bill, are just a few that were household names and kept viewers tuning in each and every week. So why are you trying to destroy SNL and your legacy by turning your show into a 90 minute political attack against President Trump every week? I don't mind the occasional political ribbing or a recurring character (Tina Fey as Sarah Palin was comedic gold!) but your entire show every week for the past 3 and a half years has been an all out Trump bashing. I used to be a loyal viewer of SNL, but no more. I have periodically tried to watch an episode over the last few years, but every time I barely made it through the first break before becoming more disappointed then the last time. When Eddie Murphy hosted recently, your ratings soared! And that episode had very little Trump slamming. Let that be an indicator of what your audience wants to see. On the brightside, it's not just you, many of the other late night talk shows also chose the anti-Trump format, but I wont ever watch Kimmel, Meyers, Colbert, and Fallon again. Maybe it's not too late for SNL to change its course.
