Showing real incidents may hurt someone for sure.
Even we Hindus are ashamed of the Sikh Massacre incidents in Delhi in 1980s. We can't change that incident but can assure that we won't do such things.
If Muslims assures that they won't prove fatal for Indian culture then Hindus will have no problem with the Muslims.
