Sam Rami needs to step away from the MCU. His campy style does not work for the modern Marvel universe. The writing was also terrible. As a fiction editor, the plot holes and useless moments were out of control. So many moments the led nowhere and never advanced the story. Characters who were dumped down or turned into McGuffins. So much telling instead of showing. It was a mess! There were some stunning visuals, but that's it.
