This movie is life changing, compelling, heartwarming, funny, dramatic, and more. As a child of a parent with a mental illness I often feel alone, but this movie touched on a subject that is not discussed very often.

I thought it was a wonderful movie until the last 30 minutes. I hated the ending so much!!! But it is still worth watching. It’s just heart wrenching. Spoiler below: Spoiler: In the beginning of the movie it appears that Yaya is self centered, immature and vain. But at the end you see how kind hearted and caring she truly is. This is why my heart broke for her. And if you are a grown adult and don’t know how to start a fire or attempt to kill a fish, or maybe go find some damn fruit you need help. The first thing I would have done was walked around the entire island. They could have done this together the first day!!!!!!!!!!! Yaya’s boyfriend was SO jealous of anyone looking at her or flirting with her on the yacht he gets the crew member kicked off!! Im SO pissed at what he did with that nasty prostitute (for some damn pretzel sticks) & she thought she was “queen” of the island because she could filet an octopus. I want to vomit everywhere just like the seasick dinner guests!!!! 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
