Ok so here’s the thing. I never beat undertale, since I already knew all the endings, and i was bad at the game. I still loved the game with all of my heart, but I just couldn’t beat it. Deltarune is nearly nothing like undertale. I mean it has some of the same characters, but overall, it’s a completely different game. And the thing is, I actually beat it. The sprite work looks great, the characters are really funny and charming, the battle system is really nice, and the music is absolutely amazing. If you’re not interested in undertale (which I mean it’s still a good game) then play this, you won’t regret it.
