Spoiler free review.. I agree with everyone to come with an open mind. I have felt more emotional connection with all the characters in one series than I did the cartoon. I have a strong love for the cartoon and love the characters that I grew up with, but the scenes in this adaptation make everything feel real, like aang if you do not do this then the fire nation will basically take over everything and hurt more people. The bending is amazing, and the story is not confusing only unless you want it to follow the cartoon version. You will get a sense of this watching through it. The acting was not bad. I mean I have seen cringe acting for young actors and this is not at all close to cringe acting. There was an interesting transition in the 1st episode but not bad though. I mean it was not bad as where they will make a meme out of it. Any who, I would just say watch it with an open mind it's not bad like some people are saying. Take it from someone who is a major Avatar last airbender fan. Netflix please make a season 2. Please, I want to get Toph in this thing lol update: Now that they are making two more seasons time to get a little more technical. **Spoilers** I feel that adding extra thing for the fire nation background, left other important things to be rushed. One thing they need to change is adding more to the episodes. But I feel with season 2 in the cartoon there is less episodes so maybe it will come together smoothly. The chid actors will grow into their characters more, just like in the Harry Potter films.

The story was fast paced, but the actors really made sense in this adaptation. I liked the actor for Luffy. You can tell he really tried hard to be the character.
