It does what it says on the box. No preaching messages, no wokeness; just a consummate well crafted action movie. Tom Cruise and his cast and crew chose to accept the mission to entertain us. This film moves at such a pace that it's 2 hrs 40 mins runtime isn't noticeable.

I desperately wanted to like this. The opening 15 minutes serves a reminder of better times; but it stops there. The film is too long and feels disjointed. Overall it leaves a sour taste. This is not the Indiana Jones I remember as teen / young adult. The movie is sad, pathetic and stupid. A tragic ending to one of cinema's best action adventure heroes. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was much better but in all honesty they should have stopped at number 3. Left the movie on the biggest downer since No Time to Die and The Last Jedi. The movie hopefully will become forgettable as the disappointment lingers long after.
