Loved it. We didn’t really learn the history of the Ottoman Empire in school, and whatever we’ve heard so far has been in bits and pieces. This brings it all together, and is superbly made, very well scripted, acted and directed. It all comes together for a beautiful retelling of a fascinating period in world history. My favorite part was probably the military history portion, and the story of the cannons.
