I am a Kevin Smith fan mind you, but giving this film even 1 star is generous. A long unfunny repetitive regurgitation of the now not so humourous jokes from the first and second film. We get two hospital scenes and two heart attacks from the main characters in the same store. The whole thing starts off w Randal getting a heart attack then going to the hospital he survives then realizes he has to make a movie so he basically makes the first Clerks film. No it's not metta it's lazy and dumb. In the end we go right back to another heart attack and hospital scene only this time Dante dies. The film ends with you guessed it "I'm not even supposed to be here today". How unimaginative and lame this attempt at a third sequel that nobody wanted was.
Absolutely depressing horse 💩. Oh and there is this subplot that we are supposed to be emotionally invested in ( even if you saw Clerks 2 which is a master piece compared to this turd) Rosario Dawson's character visits Dante in dreams cus she is now a ghost and was killed by a drunk driver along w her and Dantes child that we never see. So sad to see characters once loved depicted in such a depressing self deprecating way.
