Great read! It’s astonishing how many times we seemed to miss the mark with our CIA efforts. Our information gathering and analysis continues to be lagging behind our adversaries. Our sources get turned or were double agents to begin with and internally we see to have far too many double agents that give away our resources resulting in their deaths. Our efforts a covert activities were really poor. Lots of money spent along with lives lost eg Cuba Bay of Pigs etc. Our predator drones have been one of our more successful covert activities. Whipple does a great job of researching our history with spying and the relationships between the agency and the various Presidents. It’s a long dense packed read but we’ll worth the effort!

Interesting. Shows how poorly our childcare system works. Reveals how and the what about the oxy problem! What an indictment of the pharma , medical and even adults who should know better enabled this disaster! I do think it could have been edited down to 300 plus pages.
