A garrulous jumble of humor and sarcasm as this film explores how a black matriarch saves and serves up a lesson in courage for a white family in trouble with the law. More than entertaining and hilariously candid, Tyler brings his story to life with both sides of the funny bone engaged and the audience living through each of the characters struggles with reality and the participation of them in a scheme of their own. The unknown concept of Brian perhaps having a brother and the in and out memory of Barbara help frame the story of success that make this film one of the best in the Tyler Perry franchise. I definitely hope Mr. Perry does return to his Madea character in the near future.
