That....was....phenomenal. Not a cut. A completely new film. Epic in every sense. Nothing short of an Heroic masterpiece. It treads it's own path. Dark, explicit and unapologetically violent. There are no quips or asides here, it's all business. This is no pale Avengers imitation. It's the Stones to Marvel's Beatles. Snyder has treated the characters as they deserve to be treated, with reverence and a real-world touch. After watching this, the garbage Wheedon turned in for public viewing, only appears all the more garbled and insultingly facile. He brought Superman right back on track, rightly displaying just how effortlessly powerful and dangerous he really is. And that ending.......... Bravo, Mr #ZackSnyder, bravo. If #warnerbrosstudios don't apologise to you and write you a blank cheque for the next installment, they really are the fools Wheedon's effort suggests they are. The bar has been well and truly raised. Injustice looms! Good luck, Marvel.
