I liked this movie very much. Watching the main character slowly develope into a truly good man was so touching. He became a hero at the end. He did the only thing he knew to do to save the boy and his mother from abuse and perhaps being murdered. Worth watching and to me, rewatching. He finally spoke up for himself at the end, which made me cheer for him. This need he had to become the boy's friend and father figure helped him grow into that very good man and hero. You could see in his eyes, the wish that if only he had been treated better as a son, what a difference it would have made.
