Seriously, I don't know why I can't pull away even tho' I know this is so bad. I can't fault the actors as much as I would the director and writers. First it's almost disgustingly drippy, with honey the way everyone slathered affection on Kaan. Poor Kaan, little rich boy, no preschool, no playground set, no swimming lessons, no friends, no education. Oh Naz, an educated doctor at a hospital drops everything because Kaan is sad or lonely. Oh Aunt Faeyza refuses to live life since her son's death. Then she decides Kaan (her nephew) belongs to her smothering him as well. Umut, lazy, crazy temper explodes at the slightest flicker. He has no loyalty, money grabber. Emre, why!! Is all I can say. The only character I had hope for but even he goes nuts with jealousy and control, similar to Umut. This could have been shortened into two seasons because there are way too many agonizingly slow unnecessary flashbacks. Oh yes so much is predictable. I don't know if these characters are typical of Turkish culture. Unpredicable explosive slugfests and jumping to conclusions. I'll drag myself through to the end but be forewarned this is the only Turkish series to disappoint. I usually prefer foreign films because I love to travel. I doubt anyone will read this, so I feel the need to vent. I watched Ezel, Winter Sun, Black Money Love and Sadece Sen, all excellent. Good luck, if your curiosity forces you to go for it.

Thoroughly enjoyed it! Would be hard for those unfamiliar to the series to figure this all out. I found it very fast-paced, and I had to put in my Brit accent hearing aid (just a joke). When you're away from hearing a British accent frequently it requires extra attentiveness. It ended too soon and I feel that it was left open-ended, so I expect a sequel to be announced. So happy and hopeful!!
