This is a really good movie. Female empowerment, drama, overcoming racial segregation, and girls doing math and engineering! I loved it! The movie is safe enough to show to kids in middle school but relevant to anyone. Maybe the movie doesn't have the deepest message but what else is there to say? This movie is highlighting the lives of 3 incredible women and humanizing these people. I think the movie does a good job showing that racism and segregation did happen but it could be overcome. In real life, racism can't be overcome overnight but for the movie's sake, I just enjoyed seeing progress. Seeing actual progress towards equality was the biggest takeaway for me.
