This movie is very dark comedy, which is probably why I liked it. I find myself not wanting to discuss elements of the film, because I don’t want to ruin it for you.
I give high marks for camera work. Most of the film happens in the open kitchen/dining room, which allows the diners to watch while their meals are prepared. With an entire cast stuffed onto the set, the camera introduces you to each diner, while maintaining the essence of a very special gastronomic experience, served with side dishes of entitlement, snobbery, and too much money.
I highly recommend watching this film with an open mind! Cheers!
