The Clue in the Jewel Box is written by Carolyn Keene and it is originally published in 1943. This book is a part of Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series, and it is not necessary to read the other books in the series before this book.
Nancy Drew a young detective came to know about a former queen and his long-lost grandson from an antique dealer. To find the priceless heirloom Nancy starts on a trail of exciting adventures. With only one clue - a faded photograph of the prince at age of four, Nancy - the young detective begins her search for the grandson of the former queen, and now the former queen lives in incognito in River Heights. When she needs help, she calls George, Bess, Dave, Burt, and her special friend, Ned on her dangerous and harrowing adventures. While finding the grandson of Madame Alexander (former queen) she unmasks an imposter and afterward reunites the long-separated family.
I liked this suspense-filled story very much because of its adventures.
If you like stories on adventures, classics, suspense, and mystery thriller I am sure you will like this book.
