Absolutely disappointed with the adaptation. I can say without reservation that this adaptation is a betrayal of the spirit of Asimov's work. Apple has turned a scientific world into a paranormal one, with the ability to see the future, projecting oneself into the future and other BS. Worse still, the director used these elements to resolve conflicts in the plot, making them not just decorative but central to the story. I admit that Foundation is difficult to adapt for a TV series, but I, and I think the other fans of the novel as well, cannot accept such a misconstruction. Sure, it makes the show interesting for the general audience, but for the fans of psychohistory, it's not their Foundation.
