If anyone reading this remembers Laverne and Shirley, you can’t watch this without comparing Detective Bart to Shirley. Other than that, it’s nice accents and scenery and one hell of a bad script.

Giving it three stars for sheer entertainment value…we are in the middle and are glued to our seats wondering which accent the sister is going to come out with next. I bet this actress had a poster of Meryl Streep on her wall growing up but sadly is severely missing the mark on that front. Also keen to see the alien apparently growing in Jo based on the obligatory close up of baby belly scenes. And from now on I’m going to enjoy using the phrase “jiggy-joggy” for affairs. Keep the laughs coming, and the nice Yorkshire scenery, but please no season 2!
