Good show but it could have completely been it’s own without using the fresh Prince name, which you can tell it was added just to bring viewers. The show in itself is good, The actors portraying Will and Carlton are very talented. My only problem that I have is growing up with the actual Fresh Prince sitcom, all the characters were completely different and clashed fue to this..but were brought together by a strong family core…Carlton and his innocence, Geoffrey and everything he had to overcome.. the Hillary change doesn’t bother me much because I feel like that is EXACTLY how Hillary would be in todays world, however they are really messing up Carlton and on the many stories they could tell by how different both of these characters are based on their upbringing, but how their hearts make that strengthen their bond. Basically, it seems like Will is perfect, even a honor roll student by nature with hella swagger.. and Carlton seems like the most damaged … all in all I will keep watching but I wonder if these changes will eventually make it hard for this show to run as long as the original, as I am afraid with the current plot it will end up turning into just another generic drama show.
