Tiring and distasteful. But interesting sets reminding me a bit of Time Bandits.

This movie made no sense at all. It was a bunch of disconnected episodes and random sidecars that had no obvious direction. Even the title seems silly, there is no mention of vinyl, record stores, or plot elements involving music anywhere in the movie. I can't understand why it is nominated for 3 Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Writer, and Best Director. The Academy needs to have its meds adjusted.
