This is not at all what was promised. This game is lacking in nearly every department when it comes to AAA games. If this is all that Ubisoft is willing to put out, they should have just done an Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake or something similar. This is absolutely ridiculous and incredibly overpriced for the content available. From the character customization to the ship battles, it seems like this game was made in the early 2000’s and they’ve just decided to release it. Also the fact that other players can take your loot but you can’t attack them and take it back seems like a huge oversight to me. What irks me the most is the laziness. Clearly Ubisoft has the means, the funds, and the expertise to make amazing games, but it seems as though greed has corrupted everything good. My final opinion is that it’s simply not worth the time or money. *I only just now discovered it’s been in development for the last 11 year and that is just sad.*
