The first half started out decently enough but by the end, we couldn't get out of the theater fast enough. The movie is set 300 years in the future yet electricity is still abundant in places where you need the movie to have it? Satellites are still functioning even though the basic communication sats have an expected life of 5-15 years? How did the ocean rise to the top level of the 100"+ tower when it was level with the bottom of the door before the wall came down? You have entire society's of people living in defunct bunkers waiting for somebody to break into that one bunker steal what is apparently the only key to getting the satellites to be useable again? Just plain lazy writing. On a different note, If they wanted Katniss Everdeen to be the main character in the second half, they should have just dressed Jennifer Lawrence up again. This movie was just plain dumb overall and not worth ever watching again. I give it 3 stars merely for the CGI and first half. Which was slow to get going anywhere but wasn't convenient at least.

Everything in this movie is, well, it is just simple and convenient and completely at ease with making no sense. The deer and the flamingos? Okay, we will just accept them for no reason. The inside info GH has? Sure, let's all just accept his "knowledge" as fact. A complete waste of 2 hours.
