Loved the humanness of Jospeh and Mary- similar to The Chosen, he are helped to imagine real people experiencing real faith and real trials while obeying God. The wisemen were a bit sillier than I liked- a nod to Veggie Tales? Not sure, but obviously seeking to engage the youngest of viewers. The music was superb, voices top notch. Lyrics to most of the songs very powerful and moving. Our family has most of this soundtrack memorized already. We will likely see it in the theater again with family over Thanksgiving- which says a lot! It’s well done and endearing. The last time I watched a movie in a theater twice was with Titanic!
