Where do I even start. Let's see the beginning maybe.
I started watching this movie out of sheer boredom and left captivated. The two hours some minutes spent on this movie is one that I would find hard to regret. It spoke so much on trauma, trust, fear, and the dynamics of friendship.
Although I may not have the same experiences as the main character or anyone else in the movie, yet I could relate and truly understand them. The story line was clear with deep emotions that I connected to.
A scene that particularly stuck out to me came near the end. When his friend Chuckie came over to his house and Will wasn't there. There was this pause. Quite a heavy one that said so much with no words. To me it alluded to his happiness for his friend yet at the same time sadness. This scene alone truly captured the dynamics of friendship. And it was so beautiful.
On this note, I can confidently recommend this movie to anyone willing to give it a chance. Because if I go any further I might never stop talking about it and ruin the whole thing.
Well, then. Happy movie watching.
