Yet again hearing about eating meat being bad for the planet. It seems thats all we hear now. People need to be made aware of whats involved in growing all the fruit and veg that we're being encouraged to eat as a substitute. In this country alone there is now a massive use of pesticides and herbicides to produce such high yields required for the market. There is now much more cases of asthma, cancer and food intolerences linked to using these chemicals as well as the harm to the enviroment. Biofuel, which has been shown to be more harmful than burning coal, is used to heat the tunnels in winter to ensure there's a steady supply of food throughout the year. When these experts decide that cows and sheep are harming our planet they need to also look at what the alternatives are doing to the planet.
