The beginning was interesting. There was a lot going for it, but the more the movie showed its cards the more messy and meandering it became. Hunter Schaffer is great, she brings a star quality that makes the film worth watching (I’m biased and recognize that I love her).
The story though… it would be an overstatement to call it incoherent, but at the same time, it didn’t feel… coherent. Which maybe is what the movie was going for, but then I would say that was the wrong way to take it. Because as a viewer I was left feeling kind of frustrated with the end result.
