The series is handled very well overall. Interesting story with continuity and strong sets and well handled action scenes. Most of the casting is great with the exception of the female villain who is just a bit bland in portrayal and vibe. There are a few aspects which require a bit much suspension of disbelief that center around a pirate character. I generally was very entertained though.

This show definitely has the feel of a pretty well written Graphic Novel.

I really enjoy enjoy the Foundation Apple TV series. It contains a wide range of interlocking narratives. In this respect it reminds me of the film, Cloud Atlas. There are a really fine selection of diverse actors in the series all giving strong performances. The special effects and set design are both excellent. It has beautiful cinematography as well. It is a series that starts out good, but is at first a bit confusing due to all of the interlocking narratives and ideas it is presenting - But then the story grows both richer more fulfilling as the mysterious narrative evolves and unfolds into a fascinating and grand exercise in Universe building. The series feels relevant to me in being a thoughtful allegory and meditation on our own human history. I look forward to watching it each week. I just checked and there will be a second season in addition to the ten episodes this season.

Top notch production. Good acting.
