It's engrossing at times and visually attractive; photography and scenography are mind-blowing. All actors are so good! The characters are well-developped. Homosexuality is only relevant when it's about these two women patients considered sick and the barbaric practices and beliefs of those times to "treat" homosexuality. However, Ratched's personal relationship does not provide any particular and relevant details to the story; her sexual preferences do not have much to do with how the plot evolves and ends. I was expecting to see something impactful to come out of the Ratched - Briggs relationship, as Ratched had helped patients escape the hospital after being subjected to cruel therapies, and nothing like this happened... I just think it was an excuse for Paulson and Nixon to kiss on camera. I think that made the plot weak; the many minutes lost on the two of them promising to love each other forever or in bed kissing and touching really made the two final episodes really long and boring; I repeat, irrelevant circumstances. If they managed to get something out of this for the next season, if there's one, it would change everything.
