i really loved this movie. i watched it a couple weeks ago, but i didn't want to think about it for at least a couple days after. i watched it with my boyfriend & i had to get him to stay over afterwards because it really messed with my head. i think that's great for horror! i will say though, i advise that you think about it before watching. think about your mental state or if you get scared really easily, maybe think on it. i dont get scared too easily but this movie very much disturbed me. i was screaming a ton & there were a lot of unexpected jump scares. the ending could've been better, but regardless, i still highly recommend this movie. at first we were laughing at the people's smiles because they looked kinda silly at first. but over all i recommend this movie because it is extremely eerie & disturbing. i also love the mental illness elements to this movie; it depicts depersonalization very well, wether that was the intention or not. that part was scary because anyone with mental illness knows that elements from this movie could most definitely happen & your mind can trick you into believing some crazy things. (!!spoilers ahead!!) if you've seen the movie, you probably remember the cat scene which was one of the main reasons it messed up my head. i dont know what it was but something about that scene hung over my head for days!
