This film is incredible it shows the life of a girl (vada) who has suffered a traumatic experience that no one should have to suffer and how she copes and attempts to turn her life back to what it was as well as the friends and bonds made due to this event. This film is unlike any other I have watched the emotion portrayed by Jenna Ortega her character being Vada is incredible and brought me to tears. Although many may think it doesn’t focus on the topic of school shootings and needed to focus more on it I don’t believe this was the intention of the film I believe the intention was to show how someone who witnessed something like this copes and deals with the emotions from the tragedy
