(Non-spoilery review)
Overall I’d have to say S/V is a great Pokémon experience. It does well with characters and especially the world having 3 stories in one that you switch between throughout the experience and the other two non traditional ones have some meat behind it and sending out your Pokémon on its own is a great quality of life improvement for grinding and the school aspect actually adds to the story. Plus there’s a lot to do in the world and they improved raids and being able to customize your character right away is great and it’s great that there’s a lot to do in this game. Onto the negatives though I’d say that a quality of life change that would have been appreciated in some balanced scaling or at least showing recommended lvl’s for each part of each story. It would have been nice if when you finish a Pokémon battle u can’t immediately run into another if a Pokémon just happens to be right there when you end your encounter. It also would have been appreciated if you had more clothes options. There are also some minor bugs which if they were ironed out it would be appreciated and I would have to doc a few point for that, but like frontiers they don’t hurt the games enjoyment. It’s just not Cyberpunk/06 level no matter what people will try and make you believe. Would it be better if they’re weren’t any at all of course but not it hurt the games enjoyment no. Onto general positives that I would expect Music is pretty good, many Pokémon designs and most of them are pretty nice.
