Brenda Loper

I couldn't stop reading (well except to sleep and eat). The women in this story are intelligent and drew me in from the start. Three people with seemingly nothing in common becoming a force to reckon with, and in the process save innocent lives and shake up things in a small town. This author writes with such skill, and she even brought in the ladies from Glimmer Lake for a brief but very helpful appearance. It is a treat to read stories about women in their 40's who are still grabbing life and enjoying it. Am pre-ordering the the next book right now.
