As an avid Ghostbusters fan, I was excited to see this movie WITH the understanding that it was to be a standalone reboot with an all-new super-comedic female cast. I was honestly reluctant at first, but then I laughed through the whole thing. I saw it with my children at the theatre, and THEY laughed so much they wanted to see it again. We watch this Ghostbusters as often as we watch the first tw. It has an amazing cast, great comedy, and EPIC special effects and music! I've read on reviews and the cameos by the original Ghostbusters, even shed a tear at seeing the bust of Egon outside of "Erin's Columbia Office", and this movie led me to rush and watch more films starring these amazing women! This is a big hit, it's a lot of fun, it's different, and guess what...just sit back and enjoy...with some Stay Puft marshmallows 😜 !!
