I try to go into a film knowing little more than the director and the films positive or negative rating. This film left me gobsmacked.

I don't know WHAT people are seeing in this film - it's barely watchable. The male lead is the only thing this film has going for it. The opening scene more or less divulges the plot. The 'twist' has been done a million times. The special effects are laughable. It's Invasion Of The Body Snatchers with a Hallmark-will-they/won't-they plot and a poorly executed T2 - ripoff. Reading backs of cereal boxes for 90 minutes would be a better use of your time

Streamers are so desperate for content that empty c-grade books are turned into equally empty c-grade movies. The film offers no pay-off at the end and the nature / animal scenes make zero sense. Fine would be better spent reorganizing your kitchen cupboards

Watching this movie, now, on 8/06/2021 for the first time as a mature adult. It is an insufferable children's movie, at best with cheesey special effects, bad sets and lame dialog.

Didn't see Nightmare on Elm Street until about 30 years after its release when I was 40 years old. Although the premise is interesting, everything else about the film is awful: the writing, acting, and directing all suck!

I Discovered Excision a few years ago, and loved it, and only recently learned of Trash Fire. The latter starts out scathingly funny then organically transitions to realistic horror. The viewer is aware, more or less, of how it will end, but the suspense is so well layered that you just can't turn away. And then there's the musical score. I hope that Richard Bates Jr. Has a long successful career in movies.

Far superior to the painfully absurd original which was poorly written and even more poorly acted. The original should be relegated to mystery science theater voice-overs

Bad acting, absurd scenarios, poor editing make this a Grossly overrated film. Watch the remake with tilda swinton and spare yourself the torturous original.

Creepy when I was 5. As an adult it's really lame. Maybe watch when high
