Beautiful show of that period. It was touted to be more about showing the Jewish reality of that time, pre Inquisition, but I found it was best subservient to the story of Hugo Llor and the Christian reality, which was horrifying, in some instances, to watch.
There were some glitches in consistency of script, like when Merce' said that she only knew Regina as her mother but then, near the last episode said that Barcha was her mother growing up, which she was. And, of course, time periods that made some of the instances not quite believable. But, it was a drama.
It was captivating, if not a bit over the top in violence. But worthwhile to watch.
