I put this movie on my horror movie bucket list as many people say it’s a classic. I had high hopes, but upon watching it however I was extremely disappointed. The movie isn’t scary. Disgusting, yes. Hard to watch because of that? Yes, but I wouldn't call it scary. The only real emotion besides disgust that it evoked in me was annoyance. None of the characters are likable and I didn’t experience any sort of fear or sympathy when they were killed. In addition to that the entire thing seemed to drag on forever. Scenes go on in my personal opinion for far to long.and the whole thing feels repetitive. It was quite honestly boring. The plot twist of the gas station owner being involved was also very easy to see coming. On top of all of that, the ending is lacking and leaves me thinking “that’s it? Really??” Overall I cant really see why everyone likes it so much.
