Hades is the best Rogue like game that I've ever played and it's one of my favorite games of all time. The combat is so fun and challenging (which makes it incredibly satisfying to finally beat a boss you were stuck on). The story and Greek mythology aspect of the game is really great and engaging. There's a ton to unlock and do in Hades so even though I've beaten the last boss, I feel like I've just started. The game runs great on the Switch with only minor slowdown in crazy areas but I also have have it on PC and it runs perfectly. Take a look at the 1 star reviews. They're all either from bots, trolls, people mad at the difficulty (it's not THAT hard), or I believe from people review bombing the game just to keep the games score down (or possibly because a youtuber/streamer told them to) . Regardless of if they didn't love the game, I would be amazed if someone who actually played the game gave it 1 star. The art, music, gameplay, story, etc show how much effort went into creating this game. 1 star really should only be reserved for trash that is clearly just a cash grab that's preying on people who haven't seen any gameplay/don't know what it is. If you're interested in seeing the development process for Hades, the YouTube channel called Noclip made a great documentary about it. That alone will convince you that it's not a 1 star game. I will say that some people played this game in early access so maybe there were issues that caused people to dislike it but even then, the issues are definitely fixed now so that review is irrelevant. I honestly love Hades and have been playing it non stop since the game actually released. If you're even slightly interested in Hades, I'd definitely recommend it! Best game I've played in years and again, it's one of my favorite games of all time!
