Lemme start off by saying this show is not for the faint of heart. In other words, if a side character being gay bothers you just save yourself the time and everyone else your intolerance. What the show lacks in animation it makes up for in storytelling. Some people have given the show a bad review because of it’s LGBTQ+ representation and tbh it comes out so nonchalant you don’t even notice it for real. I find that to be one of the bigger problems in some of today’s media, not the representation but the over-saturation sometimes can be overwhelming and seem to be pandering. However this show manages to be very inclusive while not being “in your face” with the progressiveness. By the looks of some of these reviews, representation is obviously too much for some to handle but the show is still really good and that shouldn’t stop you from watching it. Moral of the story (my comment) is don’t be a bigot.
