I thought anything that Scorsese touches turns to gold. Unfortunately this is not the case in this movie. It has the potential to be a great movie, with a relevant story line about PTSD and the the horrible things the US army did, but is painstakingly slow. It’s one of those movies you expect a big twist that will win you back from the boring dull scenes. But it never comes. Don’t know why they even put the side plot of him being a great card counter and poker player. The ending is beyond predictable. Don’t waste your time.
